7/11/07 Anniversary I Blew It :(

Well, it was bound to happen...Yesterday was 10 years to the day that we met. I made my DH a cake, which I do not eat. But, then he took me to Outback. I have told you that fries were my downfall...well, fries w/ cheese and bacon are even worse! Then my DH ordered a bloomin onion. I only ate 1/4 of each but that blew my point out of the water. I only ate 1 very small piece of bread, a couple bites of salad and 2 coconut shrimp after that, but still :( I ate all my regular points and my flex points, I think...not sure how may points the coconut shrimp were??? I counted them as 4 each. The only good thing is I did 30 min on the treadmill in the am and got all my water in. I am trying to decide if I should just try really hard to stay within my target points for the rest of the week (which never happens and 5 days left) or just start a new week??? I do know that I am going to have to workout more than 3 days as I stated as my goal. What have you guys done when you've blown it? HELP PLEASE

Forgive yourself - NOW! Record the points you ate and stick to plan for the rest of the week. One meal out is NOT going to ruin all the work you've put into this, it just may set you back a wee bit.
We're not in a race. There's no reward for getting to the finish line first. Just be the best you can be. Love yourself! Good God, that sounds like a bunch of cliches, but every one of them is so important.
Hope you had an amazing 'anniversary'.

I would just record your points and keep going with the week. I think you'll feel better about it. Really you haven't officialy gone off program, just record points and move forward...I am saying this too because I blew all my 27 FP last night, plus my regular 30 (yes 30!!) points! We had planned company for diner, that I was going to go shopping for a healthy diner, but things happened and I ended up servig pizza and salad, with a fruit crisp for desert. Plus dh bought me some of the 2pt chocolate bars..but I don't think you are suppost to eat the entire BOX of them in one sitting....

Like I say, record the points and for the next 4 days I just have my daily points!! WE can do it !!!

Forgive and forget. Record the points, drink lots of water and move on! :)

I agree with everyone else just record the points and continue on with your week on plan. Don't beat on yourself after all your anniversary deserves some celebration. I would say you earned it. :)
